It’s that time again! For issue 12, we’re mixing things up a bit! We’re super excited to announce that our next issue will be a special POETRY issue! Our current submission period welcomes submissions of poetry and visual art, or pieces that blend the two mediums!

Sara Wilson is a graduate of Vancouver Island University, with a BA in Creative Writing. Her poetry has appeared in various publications, including Dinosaur Porn, Sharkasaurus!, White Stag, NoD, Existere, Qwerty, Ottawa Arts Review, and Event. She is a Red Seal Sheet Metal Journeyman, a terrible birdwatcher, and a ukulele enthusiast.

Meet Allison Whittenberg! Allison’s poem, “lag,” will be featured in our upcoming issue 6.1.

“Lag” is a poem about having the experience, but missing the meaning.

Allison Whittenberg is a Philadelphia native who has a global perspective. If she wasn’t an author, she’d be a private detective or a jazz singer. She loves reading about history, decorating, and true crime. Her novels include The Carnival of Reality, Sweet Thang, Hollywood and Maine, Life is Fine, Tutored, and The Sane Asylum.
