Today in the PCRS, Issie Patterson reading “Every Good Boy” from issue 4.1.

Issie Patterson is a writer/composer living in Nova Scotia. Her fiction has been published and is forthcoming in untethered magazine, Gargoyle Magazine, and Rue Scribe. Her stage plays have been performed on both coasts of Canada. She recently completed her MFA in creative writing at the University of British Columbia.

Today in the PCRS, Shauna Eveleigh Harris reading her poem “The Poetry Group” from issue 5.1.

Shauna Eveleigh Harris is a writer and trauma therapist working with the First Nations University. Her poetry has appeared in literary magazines The Society, Spring, University of Saskatchewan’s online journal The Fieldstone Review and untethered. Her poem “Girl at a Bar with High Heels” was nominated by Calgary’s Prairie Journal for the Pushcart Prize for Small Presses 2019. She lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan with her family. Past Contributor Reading Series: Terri Favro

Today in the PCRS, Terri Favro reading “How to Draw a Man” from issue 2.2.

Terri Favro is the author of three novels: Sputnik’s Children (a Globe100, Quill & Quire Book of the Year and CBC Books Top 10 book for 2017, shortlisted for the Sunburst Award), Once Upon A Time in West Toronto, and The Proxy Bride. Her popular science book, Generation Robot: A Century of Science Fiction, Fact and Speculation, received a starred review on BookList, the review site of the American Library Association.  A CBC Literary Prize for Creative Non-fiction finalist, Terri’s essays and short fiction have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Terri also collaborates on graphic novels. Her latest novel, Sputnik II, will be published by ECW, in 2021
