Past Contributor Reading Series: Jaclyn Desforges

Today in the PCRS, Jaclyn Desforges reading her poem “Crabapples” from untethered vol. 4.2

Jaclyn Desforges writes fiction and poetry for kids and adults. She’s the author of Why Are You So Quiet? (Annick Press, 2020), Hello Nice Man (Anstruther Press 2019), and a full-length collection of poetry forthcoming with Palimpsest Press in 2022. Jaclyn is the winner of the 2018 RBC/PEN Canada New Voices award, the 2019 Hamilton Public Library Freda Waldon Award for Fiction, the 2019 Judy Marsales Real Estate Ltd. Award for Poetry, and a 2020 Hamilton Emerging Artist Award for Writing. Her work has been featured in literary magazines across Canada. Jaclyn is currently working on a collection of short fiction with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
