Christine Barkley is an artist and writer based in the Pacific Northwest. Her writing explores themes of chronic illness, trauma and nature. Christine’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Massachusetts Review, Salamander, Rust and Moth, Autofocus and elsewhere. Her poems “Fire Weather” and “Warning: Strong Currents, Shifting Sands” were selected as runner-up and honourable mention in the Snarl 2022 Poetry Contest.
