Her work investigates belonging, both visceral and spiritual, through the prism of place, name and identity. Her creative nonfiction was shortlisted in 2023 for The Malahat Review contest and in 2021 for The CNFC/The Humber Literary Review contest. She is currently working to complete her first book-length memoir, with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
