Ellen Chang-Richardson (she/her) is an award-winning poet, writer and editor of Taiwanese and Cambodian-Chinese descent. The author of two poetry chapbooks, Unlucky Fours (Anstruther Press, 2020) and Assimilation Tactics (Coven Editions, forthcoming), Ellen’s work has appeared in many publications including long con magazine, Anti-Heroin Chic, The Puritan’s Town Crier and Vallum Contemporary. She currently lives and works in Ottawa, Ontario on the traditional, unceded territories of The Algonquin Anishinabeg First Nation. Find out more at https://ehjchang.com.

Katherine FitzHywel has completed a Bachelor of Arts and Honours in Creative Writing at RMIT and is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. She is studying the representation of animals through the language used in contemporary poetry, but she also likes potatoes and soup. She lives in Melbourne and has performed her poetry for Ms Millie’s Pop up Poetry Café at Afro Hub and Next Level Studios. 

Margo LaPierre (www.margolapierreeditor.com) is a queer, bipolar Canadian poet and editor. Her debut collection, Washing Off the Raccoon Eyes, was published by Guernica Editions in 2017. She is newsletter editor of Arc Poetry Magazine, membership chair of the Editors Canada Ottawa-Gatineau branch, member of poetry collective VII, and a poetry selector for Bywords.ca. She is completing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. Her work has been published (or is forthcoming) in the Temz Review, Room Magazine, filling Station, CAROUSEL, PRISM, Train Journal, and others. She lives in Ottawa. @margolapierre

Khashayar Mohammadi is a queer, Iranian born, Toronto-based poet, writer, translator and photographer. He is the  author of poetry chapbooks Moe’s Skin (ZED press, 2018),  Dear Kestrel (knife | fork | book, 2019) and Solitude is an Acrobatic Act (above/ground press 2020). His debut poetry collection Me, You, Then Snow is forthcoming with Gordon Hill Press.

Gillian Turnbull holds a PhD in ethnomusicology and is the author of Sonic Booms: Making Music in an Oil Town. She also holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of King’s College, where she now teaches as a mentor in the program. She has written for The Walrus, The National Post, The Conversation, Hazlitt, No Depression, Penguin Eggs, and the Grove Dictionary of American Music. She teaches music at Ryerson University, co-founded the Wide Cut Weekend Roots Festival in Calgary, and has hosted radio shows in Edmonton and Toronto.

Jade Wallace’s poetry and fiction have been published or are forthcoming internationally, including in This Magazine, Canadian Literature, The South Carolina Review, and The Stockholm Review.
