Meet Heather C. Krueger! Heather’s poem, “Flight” will be featured in our upcoming issue, Vol. 14!

How Heather describes “Flight” in 12 words or less:
“we trained in the school gymnasium, my fledgling body repeatedly climbing stairs”

Heather C. Krueger (she/they) is a deep-hearted queer poet whose work explores the farmlife of her childhood, navigating divorce, trauma and embodiment. She is currently enrolled in SFU’s The Writer’s Studio 2023. She lives on Treaty 7 territory and Métis Nation Region 3 with her two teenagers and has been published in Sweet Tree Review and Quillkeepers Press, among others.
